Arvada Weather
is unique – given the city’s location in Jefferson County at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. The town of Arvada has a wonderful year round climate – extremely temperate, with over 300 days of sunshine per year. It is a common misconception that due to its close proximity to the mountains and world-class skiing, that Arvada has harsh winters. This is not true. Winter storms do not last long in Arvada. The snow quickly melts with the mild daytime winter temperatures. The hottest months are July and August with an average high temperature of 74 degrees. The coldest month is January with an average temperature of 30 degrees. Arvada’s weather is perfect for golfing in the summertime and skiing in the wintertime.
